Lassen National Park is a winter wonderland for women who want to learn mountaineering skills!

One of the main reasons why Lassen National Park is a great place for women to learn mountaineering skills in winter is its accessibility. The park is easily accessible from major cities like San Francisco and Sacramento, making it a convenient destination for weekend trips or longer excursions. Additionally, the park offers a variety of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing trails, making it easy to have other options if you wanted to extend your trip for longer than just our one day course.

Additionally, the park offers a variety of other peaks, including Brokeoff Mountain, which offers a more moderate climb and a chance to see the park's diverse flora and fauna, however, most likely snow covered in winter.
